Description: The Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is the most globally recognized certification in the information security market. CISSP validates an information security professional’s deep technical and managerial knowledge and experience to effectively design, engineer, and manage the overall security posture of an organization.

  • Background check requirements for licensing and background restrictions for working in the occupation:


Employers have their own requirements for background checks.  Cyber security jobs will often eliminate individuals with a felony conviction



  • Other requirements needed:


To qualify for this cybersecurity certification, a student  must pass the exam and have at least five years of cumulative, paid work experience in two or more of the eight domains of the ISC2 CISSP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK).


Student may be able to satisfy one year of required work experience with a relevant four-year college degree or if you hold an approved credential


A student can still pass the CISSP exam and become an Associate of ISC2 while s/he earns the required work experience.

Refund Policy

Refunds will be issued to the funding organization within 30 days of the date of student notification of withdrawal, submitted to  Student Services via email at susan@advancedbusinesslearning.com. Refund is contingent upon the student NOT accessing the courseware.  Once the courseware has been opened ISC2 does not provide refunds to ABL.
