Course Objective: Description: Construction Office Administrator w/(MOS) Microsoft Office Specialist Certification Program falls under Business Support, Management, Operations, per 2012 – 2022 Arizona Statewide Occupational Projections a growth of 18.1 – 22.8% of job openings. 


Program Description: Program trains the student for Construction Offices and Engineering Offices with online or blended with homework practice. The program includes basics in QuickBooks and prepares the student for MOS Certification Exam which can be taken at any testing facility including WTA. 2016 MOS credential validates the skills that individuals and organizations depend. Jobs include: Mines, Environment Companies, Construction Offices, Engineering Firms, and many more. This program is 400 hours, students has up to 6 months to complete: Student gains skills in blueprint reading, job take off (basics in estimating), job costing, billing, construction progress reports, time tracking, clerical duties, hands on payroll, AR, AP in QuickBooks, and understanding construction office duties. Students will learn online or blended with hands on practice in basic to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook with homework assignments. Learn how to develop forms, Excel workbooks, PowerPoint presentations, and use Outlook. The course is self-paced online at home or in WTA’s computer lab with staff members ready to help if needed. Prepares for the Microsoft Office Software (MOS) Certification Exam. The course includes the MOS Exam, MOS Book, and training with videos, presentations, exercises, and includes pre-tests. You should have basic computer skills. Program is not offered for Mac. Students will graduate with an attendance rate of 75% or better on exams. Licensed by Arizona Board for Private Postsecondary Education. Graduates will receive a Certificate of Completion. Competencies to be achieved: Specialist in 2016 Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Microsoft Office Software (MOS) Certification, Certificate of Completion, skills that individuals and organizations depend on and recognize globally.

Additional information: Students take the online portion at home or in WTA’s computer lab on a self-paced basis, WTA provides staff with knowledge of the course and will provide help to the student. Students will learn online or blended with hands on practice with homework assignments in Construction Office, Admin Office, Estimator Assistant, and Front Desk skills.


Refund Policy: The cancellation and refund policy for these programs is as follows: If for any reason an applicant is denied admission by the institute, the applicant is entitled to a refund of all monies paid. Three-Day Cancellation. Other Cancellations: An applicant requesting cancellation more than three days after signing an enrollment agreement and making an initial payment, but prior to entering the institute, is entitled to a refund of all monies paid, less the registration of $200 and less the other associated fees.
