  1. Course Objective: Description: Program falls under Infrastructure/Construction. Building and Grounds Maintenance, Installation of Pre-treat, regular maintenance. Arizona State Law requires ALL Constructors to have Licensed Chemical Applicators.


 


Program Description: Pest Control Workers are a great part of our environment. Pest Control
Workers remove unwanted creatures, bugs, termites, pretreat areas, and do monthly maintenance. The Arizona Office of Employment and Population Statistics (EPS) estimates 7% occupational growth, which shows the job outlook growth in Pest Control as 20% faster than average. Environmental and health concerns will result in more people hiring professionals. Jobs include Schools, Hospitals, Commercial Properties, State, City, County, Resorts, Property Management, Pest Control Companies, Environment Companies, and many more. State laws require Pest Control Workers to be licensed. This program is 160 hours: self-paced online or blended Preparation for the Arizona Department of Agriculture Exam. The program teaches the laws and requirements to safely use and store chemicals. Prepares the student with all the correct terminology, pictures, study guides, hands-on demonstration, tools. This license will stay with the graduate and is mandatory for employment in all Exterminating Companies, Landscape Companies, Property Management, HOAs, Cities & Government, and anyone that purchases or sprays chemicals in our environment. We process background checks, Arizona Department of Agriculture Application for the student, and assist them to take their exam for the Certification and License. Students will graduate with 70% or better on exams and pass State Exams. Licensed by Arizona Board for Private Postsecondary Education. Graduates will receive a Certificate of Completion, State Certification and Certified Applicator License from Arizona Department of Agriculture OPM. Competencies to be achieved: Chemical application, safety, laws and regulations, Certification & License from Arizona Department of Agriculture OPM.

Three-Day Cancellation. Other Cancellations: An applicant requesting cancellation more than three days after signing an enrollment agreement and making an initial payment, but prior to entering the institute, is entitled to a refund of all monies paid, less the registration of $200 and less the other associated fee of $300 (background card, state application fee). Tuition charges/refunds: No refunds are given after the start of class.
