Refund Policy (provide a summary if Refund policy is not listed on school website):
At QFD-Saint Florian Fire Training we understand that circumstances may arise that could impact a student's ability to complete or continue with their fire service training program. To address these situations, we have established a comprehensive refund policy that seeks to provide a fair and transparent process for our students. It is essential to note that most students do not pay for the program costs independently, and we aim to accommodate their needs while maintaining the integrity of our educational offerings.
- Refund Timeline:
- Full Tuition Reimbursement within the First Week:
- Students enrolled in our fire service training program have a one-week window, starting from the first day of class, during which they may withdraw from the program and receive a full tuition reimbursement. This initial period is designed to allow students to assess whether the program aligns with their expectations and commitments. Should a student decide to withdraw within this timeframe, they will be eligible for a complete refund of their tuition payments.
- Non-Refundable Tuition Payments After the First Week:
- Commencing from the day after the one-week drop period, tuition payments become non-refundable. This policy ensures that students who choose to continue with the program beyond the initial evaluation period are committed to completing the training.
- Rationale for the Policy:
- Fair Evaluation Period: The one-week period serves as a fair evaluation window during which students can assess the compatibility of the program with their goals and schedules.
- Resource Allocation: The establishment of a non-refundable policy after the first week enables us to allocate resources effectively and plan for the continued delivery of high-quality fire service training.
- Financial Commitment: Recognizing that most students rely on external sources for funding, the policy encourages a serious commitment to the program by making tuition payments non-refundable after the initial week.
- Communication and Awareness:
- To ensure that all students are well-informed about our refund policy, we communicate this information clearly during the enrollment process. Additionally, detailed information about the policy is made available in our official documents, including enrollment agreements and program handbooks.
- Exceptions and Special Circumstances:
- While we strive to maintain consistency in our policies, we also understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. In cases of documented emergencies or other compelling situations, students are encouraged to reach out to the administration for a review of their individual circumstances.
- At QFD-Saint Florian Fire Training, we are committed to providing a supportive learning environment, and our refund policy is designed to balance the needs of our students with the operational requirements of our fire service training program.
