Description: To provide Arizona NCIA Board certified instruction for Arizona Caregiver training certificate.
Competencies to be achieved: The program provides the essential training needed to assist others in their activities of daily living for Supervisory, Personal and Directed Care, including the following:
- Service Plans
- Legal/Ethical Issues
- Medication Administration
- Activities of Daily Living (bathing, dressing, oral care, transfer, toileting, incontinence care,
- Infection Control
- Nutrition/Food Preparation
- Communication/Interpersonal Skills
- Home Environment/Maintenance

- Care of cognitively impaired
