A. Program Objective: Prepares individuals for employment in project management and other industries.
Description: Students will learn how to coordinate various elements of a project, develop and manage a project schedule and ensure that the project delivers the desired outcome. As the
Project Management Professional course (PMP) is an internationally recognized professional designation offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI). Students who successfully complete this course will receive a Certificate of Completion and will meet the PMP exam pre-requisite of 35 hours of project management education/training. The course will be 35 hours of instruction as required for the PMP exam and an additional 6 hours of instruction for additional makeup courses and/or additional exam preparation.
Competencies to be achieved:
Upon completion of the class students will be able to:
Analyze project risks.
Initiate and execute a project.
Monitor and control project quality, staffing, and communications.
Monitor and control project schedule and costs
Plan project procurement.

G. Additional information: The eligibility requirements to the PMP certification exam are as follows:
-Candidates with a 4-year degree (bachelor’s degree, global equivalent, or higher degree): 1. 36 Months Project Management experience that is unique, non-overlapping which time was spent leading and directing projects 2. Project Management Education: 35 contact hours of formal education (This course) -Candidates with a secondary degree (high school diploma/GED, associate degree, or global equivalent): 1. 60 Months Project Management experience that is unique, non-overlapping experience during which your time was spent leading and directing projects. 2. Project Management Education: 35 contact hours of formal education (This course)

A 50% refund will be issued if notice is received less than 2 business days prior to class. No refunds will be issued after the first day of class.
