(ARDMS Prerequisite 1). Students are also eligible to pursue ARRT credentialing upon program completion. Students who obtain ARRT certification are eligible to sit for the ARDMS credentialing exam with no additional work experience requirements (ARDMS Prerequisite 5). Students who enroll in DMS Diploma or AS programs after having earned their undergraduate degree or higher in any field are eligible to sit for an ARDMS credentialing exam upon graduation. (ARDMS Prerequisite 3A)

The main goal is to prepare competent entry-level general sonographers in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains in Abdominal-Small Parts, OB/GYN, and Vascular sonography; and to offer students integrated learning experiences in theory and practice that will enable them to provide high quality images and patient care.
