Description: Complete this certificate to work as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor or to prepare for the national personal trainer certification.


Competencies:



  1. Determine motivational readiness of client.

  2. Determine risk, stratify clients, and assess physical fitness.

  3. Develop individualized training programs for strength training and cardiovascular fitness.

  4. Demonstrate and modify exercise to improve functional capacity.

  5. Identify professional and legal responsibilities.
