A. Course Objective
Description: Pima’s Computer-Aided Design Technician Certificate will prepare you for drafting positions in a variety of manufacturing and construction settings, depending on the pathway you choose.
You will master drafting skills in multiple software and applications. Depending on your certificate pathway, you could find employment in companies specializing in design for manufacturing, building construction, or land development.
Depending on the Pathway, students either take the CSWA as the final for CAD 142 or Revit ACU as the final for CAD 166.
Competencies: Upon successful completion of the program, the learner will be able to:
• Create computer-aided representations that develop and document design ideas.
• Apply various graphic outputs of the design process.
• Discuss gap between modeling and execution within the context of the appropriate industry.
• Integrate effective collaboration skills.
B. Total cost: (Tabulated after all other pricing is complete—in-state & out-of-state). In-state: 5,440.87; out-of-state: 12,750.37
