A. Course Objective:
Description:
The nursing assistant program consists of 120 hours, 80 hours of classroom/ skills lab, and 40 hours of
clinicals. Students will be able to engage in the following practices: infection control practices, feeding residents, ADL
care, vital signs, observing resident rights, and assisting with feeding patients. After successful completion of this
course, students will meet all the expectations necessary to sit for the state exam and become certified nursing
assistants. Once participants are Certified Nursing Assistants, individuals can expect to work in the following
settings: long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, hospitals, hospices, and home health.
Competencies to be achieved: Entrance exam of basic, reading writing and math.

REFUND POLICY:
Please note the application fee is non-refundable in any event. If a student has paid for tuition in
full prior to the start of the program, the student may be eligible for a refund.
Paid In Full Refund Schedule (after day 1 of starting the program)
Full refunds will be issued up until the 1 st day of class. On the 3 rd day of class students are eligible
to receive 50% of their paid in full tuition. After the 4 th day which constitute the first week, there
will not be a refund distributed at that time. Refunds may take up to 14 days to process, which will
be mailed via US Mail to the address on file.
For students who have engaged in a payment plan but later decide to withdraw, the refund
policy will be assessed by the number of payments paid and the days present in class. After 1
week of program there are no refunds issued in any payment plan option.

Payment Plan: Students are given the option to engage in a payment plan. Cost of the program is $1450 and will be broken down into weekly payments until the balance is paid in full per the student's payment plan option. Participants that qualify for SNAP/CAN benefits are eligible for full tuition reimbursement.
