A. Course Objective:
Description: The primary objective of the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is to establish a globally recognized standard of project management expertise, validating that certified professionals possess the knowledge, skills, and experience to effectively lead and manage projects across various industries and methodologies.
ABL’s PMI approved online training course satisfies the 35-contact hour PM training requirement to sit for the exam. This enables the student to schedule her/his exam directly with PMI, following the PMP Boot Camp.

The Project Management Institute (PMI) does not conduct background checks as part of the PMP certification process.

Project Management Institute (PMI) reviews the student’s application, which requires detailed information about her/his educational background, project management experience, and training.

PMI may randomly audit applications to verify the information provided, which could involve contacting references or requesting further documentation.
o Experience and Education Requirements:
To qualify for the PMP certification, the individual needs to meet specific requirements, including:
• Educational Background: A bachelor's degree or higher (or global equivalent).
• Project Management Experience: 36 months of experience leading and managing projects within the past eight years.
• Project Management Education: 35 hours of project management education/training. (Satisfied by taking the ABL PMP course)

An applicant who provides written notification of cancellation within three days (excluding Saturday, Sunday and federal and state holidays) of signing an Enrollment Agreement is entitled to a refund of all monies paid. Students enrolled in an Online course of study are exempt from any refunds once they have received their online access code.
